We are "the bands of Seymour" – variety cover bands based in Portland, Oregon, U.S.A. – and rooted in good ol' rock & roll. OK, we're of a certain age. Two of us cut our teeth in 1960's garage bands, and at the end of that decade, we went on to found Portland's original Seymour band, which gigged around town in 1970-71, opened for the Grateful Dead, etc. That group disbanded in early 1972, but we re-launched the band in 1991, and we've been at it ever since. We currently have two active band configurations available for hire:

• the Seymour Express Trio, and
• Seymour & Smith

The core Seymour Express Trio consists of:

• Jnana "Frogz" Sivananda (a.k.a. Paul Stanton): guitar, vocals
• Carlee Smith: vocals and percussion
• John "JD" Dalrymple: keyboard, guitar, vocals

The Trio is our compact and economical band configuration. Carlee, Frogz, and JD are accompanied by "George" – our pre-programmed rhythm section, produced by the elves at SeymourLabs™.

Or you can upgrade to Seymour & Smith – a full five-piece combo that brings more song variety and vocal richness to the party, along with the live rhythm section. The additional musicians in Seymour & Smith are:

• Jim Badenoch, drums and vocals, and
• Tim McCarthy, bass guitar and vocals
